September Book Wrap Up Part Two 2016

Hello Everyone,

Here is book reading wrap up part two. So lets get started.



Lock & Mori By Heather W. Petty

This book follows High school students Sherlock Holmes and James Moriarty. I will warn you that there is violence against children in this book.  This book follows Mori who wants to know the secrets about her mother past after she dies.

I gave this book one star.



Half-Blood By Jennifer L. Armentrout

The Hematoi descend from the unions of gods and mortals, and the children of two Hematoi pure bloods have godlike powers. Children of Hematoi and mortals–well, not so much. Half-bloods only have two options: become trained Sentinels who hunt and kill daimons or become servants in the homes of the pures.

I gave this book 3 stars.



Ghosts Of Tsavo By Vered Ehsani

This book is about Beatrice Knight and her ghost husband travelling to Africa to hunt down the famous ghost lion. With a few bumps in road and a few unexpected hunters.

I gave this book 3 stars.



The Wrath & The Dawn By Renee Ahdieh

Every night to dawn Shahrzad  reads to the prince to live one more day to get revenge on the prince for killing her friend. If the story is good she lives but if the story is bad she dies.

I gave this book 5 stars.



The Secret Adversary BY Agatha Christie.

This book is about two friends named Tommy and Tuppence. One wants to see the world and one wants to marry a rich man. Together they decide to run a detective agency. So they can both get what they want. Even though it could cost their lives and friendship.

I gave this book 2 stars.



The Neverland Wars by Audrey Greathouse.

This book is about Gwen whose sister is one night kidnapped by Peter Pan. Gwen is told that magic is real by her parents. All electronics are run on magic and Peter Pan is stealing it and taking children as hostages.  After her sister comes back to take her to Neverland. Gwen must decide what side she will fight for. The side of home or the place where children never grows up.

I gave this book 2 stars.



Heir Of Fire By Sarah J. Maas

This book follows Celaena‘s home to find out who she is and what she is.

I gave this book one star.



Bitten By Kelley Armstrong

This book follows Elena the only female werewolf of her pack. Elena lives in the human world and wants to live as a human. But when her pack has mysterious killing over pack members. She has to choose the human or the wolf inside.

I gave this book 3 stars.



Cobweb Bride by Vera Nazarian

Death needs a wife or no one is going to find peace in the after life. It follows different perspective. Ones who don’t want death to find his bride, the girls who go out to death to see if one of them is his bride and  the princess that is sure she is the bride or just wants to die.

I gave this book one star.



Rebecca By Daphne Du Marier

This book follows the second Mrs. de Winter who loves her husband but with the shadow of the first Mrs. de Winter aka Rebecca. Mrs. de Winter fell less like a person who is love then a replacement. Can she get over living in the famous Rebecca shadow and pave her way in to everyone’s hearts.

I gave this book 3 stars.



The Copper Gauntlet By Holly Black & Cassandra Clare.

This book follows Callum Hunt in his second year at the Magisterium. After his father tries to chain him up but he escapes to his friend Tamara’s house where he finds Aaron stay. He feels jealous still of Aaron. He puts that aside later in the year when his father is framed for stealing a powerful magic item to give to the dark one. He decide to save his dad even after what he tries to do with him.

With his three friends and enemy. They go out on a mission to save his dad.

I gave this book 4 stars.



Glamour Of The God-Touched by Ron Collins.

To save the one he loves from dying. He makes a deal with the gods to become a god-touched at any cost. He finds out it is not what it is cracked up to be. The new power is always hunger for pure souls. He finds out he needs to steal and kill  many people with pure souls to save one person life.

I gave this book 4 stars.


And finally the last book I read this month.



Robert The Bruce By Jack Whyte.

This book follows Robert The Bruce story about serving the king of England become the bruce and turning his back on the English king.

I gave this book one star.


So that is all the books I read in the month of September.

My top three books I read for the month of September are:

  1. The Iron Trial and The Copper Gauntlet By Holly Black and Cassandra Clare.
  2. The Watchmaker’s Daughter By C.J. Archer.
  3. Apprentice By Rachel E. Carter.


I should not that the top three books are chosen by reading pleasure and not by star score.
