Adult Book Review: The Woman Who Would Be King: Hatshepsut’s Rise to Power in Ancient Egypt By Kara Cooney

Hello Everyone,

This book was provide to me from Edelweiss for a honest review.

About this book:

This book is about Hatshepsut, a Egypt queen who rule her kingdom along side her nephew Thutmose III. The story follows her from baby to the end of her life and beyond that.

What I thought about the book:

I really like most of the book. I found the story very interesting. However the last four chapters ruin the whole flow of the book which made me give it a low mark. I feel the story really should have ended at her death.

I gave this book 2 stars out of 5 stars.
